Hosting included — your site stays live on our infrastructure for as long as you're with us, no separate hosting bill

Uptime alerts — we're alerted automatically if your site stops loading, and we look into it
SSL certificate renewal handled automatically, before it expires
DNS management — we keep your domain pointed at your site correctly (you register and renew the domain itself with your own registrar)

What's not included, any tier: new pages or design changes — that's separate project work, quoted individually. Business email setup (Zoho Mail, Microsoft 365, or your provider of choice) is also separate — a one-time add-on, not part of any retainer tier.

Care plans cover hosting, software updates, backups and fixes for the site we built. They don't include security testing or scanning, protection against attacks, incident response, or looking after your email, domain registration, devices or other tools. We don't promise a set uptime, response or restore time. Response times shown are targets, not guarantees.

If you leave, or a payment fails: there is no minimum term and no exit fee. You can cancel any time. We'll give you at least 30 days' written notice before changing your plan's monthly price, and you can cancel before it takes effect. If a monthly payment fails, we'll email you and try again over 14 days, and your site stays hosted meanwhile. If it's still unpaid after 14 days, the plan ends as if you'd cancelled it. Privacy Policy pages: treated as a minor edit either way — whether you already have one and just need the text replaced with an updated version you provide, or your site never had one and needs it added for the first time. On Growth or Priority, it's covered by your included edits; on Essential (or no retainer), it's the flat $35 ad-hoc rate. Zendrex Labs doesn't draft the legal wording itself — you supply the document, we handle placing it on the site.

What happens when a plan ends?

When a plan ends, you get your site files and a self-hosting guide, and hosting ends with the plan. There is no minimum term and no exit fee.

The first time you cancel, your site stays hosted for 30 days after you cancel, and your files are sent to you at the start of those 30 days. If you haven't rejoined a plan by day 30, hosting stops and you use those files to host the site yourself.

If a payment fails, we email you and try again over 14 days, and your site stays hosted meanwhile. If it is still unpaid after 14 days, the plan ends as if you had cancelled it. Your domain stays yours throughout: you register and renew it with your own registrar.

My site is already built — why am I paying monthly for it?

A website isn't a one-time object like a brochure — it's live software sitting on the internet, and the ground underneath it keeps moving whether anyone's watching or not. "Build and forget" is exactly how sites quietly go down, get hacked, or vanish from Google, usually right when a customer needed to find you.

Certificates expire.

SSL certificates lapse on a clock — miss a renewal and your site can start showing security warnings to visitors, with no build work involved at all. (Your domain registration is separate and stays yours to renew with your registrar — we're not the ones holding that clock.)

Hosting needs someone watching it.

Servers go down, and someone needs to notice. With a care plan we're alerted if your site stops loading and we look into it.

Backups only help if they're current.

If something ever breaks — a bad edit, a hosting fault — a backup from months ago isn't much use. Regular backups mean there is usually a recent version to restore from.

Google's standards move.

Search and security requirements shift over time — a site that scored well at launch can quietly slip if nobody's re-checking it against today's bar.
